Dohner LANCASTER Nelson Henry Dohner, 83, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the Essa Flory Hospice Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Adela (Carcano) Dohner, with whom he was married 25 years last May 5. Nelson had worked 40 years at the former Raybestos-Manhattan, Manheim. He was an active member of the Manheim Township Lions Club and the Manheim Historical Society. Born in Quentin, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Elizabeth (Kreiser) Dohner. Nelson was a proud Korean Conflict Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Jeffrey N. Dohner married to Teresa A., of Cornwall, Manuel Valentin, III married to Ruth Cruz, of Harrisburg and Lillian Valentin, of Lancaster; six grandchildren, Patrick Dohner, Zachary Valentin, Julian married to Kristen Valentin, Zarek Valentin and Anya Miller; and two siblings, Robert A. Dohner and Joyce Rodkey, both of Lebanon. Funeral Services will be held at the Lampeter Church of the Brethren, 1900 Lampeter Road, Lampeter, PA 17537-0038 on Saturday at 12 noon (Viewing 10 a.m. to 12 noon) with Pastor John D. Hostetter officiating. Military Honors will be accorded. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial Remembrances can be made to the Lampeter Church of the Brethren Benevolence Fund.
