  Bertha M. Echternach 
   
  EASTON, MD Bertha M. Echternach affectionately known as "Bert", died on 
  Saturday, April 14, 2012 at her home. She was 82. Born September 13, 1929 in 
  Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Diller and Erma Hank Leaman. She 
  attended public school in Lancaster. Her husband, Joseph L. Echternach, died 
  May 9, 2008. She is survived by five children, Joseph L. Echternach, Jr., 
  Dennis M. Echternach, Pamela M. Welch, Sean E. Echternach and Dale Brown; 18 
  grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was 
  predeceased by a son, David S. Echternach. Graveside services will be held at 
  2 p.m. on Friday at New Spring Hill Cemetery, Easton, Md.  Arrangements by 
  Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Easton, Md.
