  Homer R. Eckert Jr. 
   
  CAMPBELLTOWN Homer R. Eckert, Jr., 80, of Campbelltown and formerly of Palmyra 
  died Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in 
  Annville on January 8, 1932, he was the son of the late Homer R., Sr. and 
  Ellen M. Anthony Eckert. He was employed by the Hershey Company in the 
  convention center kitchen for several years until his retirement. Homer 
  attended the Gospel Center in Lebanon and was an avid gardener and loved 
  animals. He is survived by a son, Dean G. Eckert of Hummelstown; a brother, 
  Franklin Eckert of Palmyra; two nephews, Timothy and Gregory; and a niece, 
  Robin. Homer was preceded in death by a brother, William Eckert. Funeral 
  services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and 
  Crematory 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Gravel Hill 
  Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the 
  funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's 
  Association.
