Eiceman, 69, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012, in Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, where she was a patient since Monday, after a courageous 39 year battle with numerous illnesses. She and her husband, Dr. Richard D. Eiceman, celebrated 48 years of marriage. Born in Centerville, Iowa on April 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Maxwell Leon and Icle Pauline (York) Briedwell. Janet was a 1961 graduate of Downing High School and attended Northeast Missouri State University and Lebanon Valley College. She was employed as a free lance writer for The Harrisburg Patriot and did modeling in Lancaster County. Mrs. Eiceman was a former member of the Eastern Star in Missouri. Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Achsah York Eiceman of Robesonia; four granddaughters, Skyler, Raina, Rowan and Taryn; a brother, Larry Max Briedwell, husband of Linda Briedwell of Glenwood, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Georgia McClean in Columbia, Mo. She was predeceased by a brother, Dickie Rae Briedwell. Services will be Tuesday at 12 noon in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring. Rev. Johnie W. Lengel will officiate. Friends and relatives will be received Tuesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment will be made in Schaefferstown Cemetery.
