  READING Blanche (Haldeman) Engle, 81, passed away August 21, 2012, at the 
  Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the wife of Harry Engle who passed 
  away Jan. 2, 1994. Born in Robesonia, she was the daughter of Edwin R. and 
  Sadie G. (Bearringer) Haldeman. She retired from Rachlin Furniture after 26 
  years. She is survived by four sons, Robert R. Schaeffer, Womelsdorf, William 
  A. Schaeffer husband of Bonnie, Womelsdorf, Barry L. Schaeffer husband of Faye, 
  Wernersville, and Randy I. Schaeffer fiance of Kathleen Wentzel; a daughter, 
  Linda L. wife of Arthur Wolf, West Lawn; two sisters, Arlene Schaeffer, 
  Wernersville, and Charlotte Dutcher, Exeter; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-
  grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. 
  Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. 
  Penn Ave., Wernersville. Friends are invited to call from 10to 11 a.m. Friday, 
  at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VA Patient Fund, Lebanon, 
  Pa.
