M. shabodeho@aol.com August 27, 2012, 11:36 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on August 20, 2012 BEVERLY HILLS, FL The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Ronald "Ron" Quentin Fake, 69, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church of Crystal River, Fla., with the Rev. R. Jackson Alwood officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Hooper Crematory, Inverness, Fla. Mr. Fake was born September 9, 1942, in Lebanon, son of the late Quentin and Evelyn (Kleinfelter) Fake. He passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at his home. He was a retired Phys. Ed. and Health teacher from the Wyomissing School District in Berks County. Ronald coached track and field for 32 years and during that time became the most winning track and field coach in the school district's history, while earning countless championships, as well as, "Coach of the Year" honors. He moved to Beverly Hills from Berks County in 2001 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crystal River. He is survived by his wife, Carole Fake of Beverly Hills; son, David Fake and wife, Leigh Anne of Seaford, Del; daughter, Pamela Szal and husband, Ryan of Womelsdorf; two sisters, Sharon Pineda and husband, Steve of Lecanto, Fla., and Kathy Herr and husband, Leonard of Woodstock, Ga. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
