Farrell, 42, formerly of Palmyra, unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, September 14, 2012, from natural causes. She was the wife of Patrick M. "Mac" Farrell, who died April 19, 2011. Born in Ligonier, Ind., she was the daughter of John A., Jr. and Karen E. House Shuman of Mount Wilson. Teresa was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren in Manheim, and a 1988 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. Prior to having children, she was employed as a kitchen worker by Funk's Restaurant in Palmyra and Hershey Medical Center. Most of all, she was a devoted and loving mother to her children. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three children, Katie S. Farrell, Ryan M. Farrell, and Patricia A. Farrell, all at home; three siblings, John L., husband of Reba F. Shuman of Mount Joy, Joel L. Shuman of Newport, Va., and Susan C., wife of Lawrence P. Terrell of Wallingford; and her mother-in-law, Patricia Farrell of Ligonier. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kirsten L. Farrell, and infant twin brothers. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, with Brothers Michael S. Hess and Donald Fitzkee officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive guests at the church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The family requests that flowers please be omitted. If desired, contributions to help support her children may be made to Wells Fargo Bank, E. Palmyra, Pa., earmarked Farrell Children Account.
