He was born on Thursday, September 27, 1923, to the late John C.T. Fox and Estella M. Fox nee Readinger in Lebanon. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps, having served in World War II. He was a 1941 LHS graduate and worked as a chemical analyst for Bethlehem Steel and payroll clerk for MS Hershey Medical Center. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Lebanon Drum and Bugle Corps, member of the Mens Class, church financial secretary for 13 years, communion steward, and served on the Administrative Board at church. John also enjoyed bowling. Surviving are daughters, Carolyn M., spouse of Richard Blahosky of Allentown and Susan D. Stickler of Palmyra; sisters, Betty Houser of Jonestown and Dorothy Edris of Jonestown; grandchildren, Christopher J. Blahosky of Allentown, Jonathan W. Blahosky of Philadelphia, and Franklin T. Stickler, II of Lebanon; and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife, Gertrude Fox nee Zeh. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 31, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 29 E. Maple St., Cleona. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
