M. shabodeho@aol.com August 1, 2012, 11:50 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on July 4, 2012 LEBANON Lucille E. Funk, 62, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of James F. Funk, to whom she was married 43 years on June 21, 2012. She was born in Rehrersburg, on March 24, 1950, a daughter of the late London and Lydia Bross Muth. She retired with 25 years of service as a Contract Specialist for the U.S. Government, having worked at Fort Indiantown Gap and the Lebanon VA Medical Center. She attended the Lebanon Valley Bible Church, Lebanon. Lucy enjoyed cruises, dinner theaters, reading, collecting cookbooks, gardening, her cats, and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters, Mildred Brightbill of Lebanon, Helen Reinhart of Sinking Springs, and Dorothy, wife of Stewart Moyer of Richland, and brother, George, husband of Doris Muth of Pomroy, Ohio, and their families. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucy's funeral service on Friday, July 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Lebanon Valley Bible Church, 1482 Horseshoe Pike, Lebanon 17042 with Pastor John B. Hunt officiating. A viewing will be held Friday from the church beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Arrangements entrusted to Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., Lebanon.
