Garrison, 93, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. He was the widower of Kay Steinberg and Mildred Garrison. Born October 24, 1918, in Albamarle County, Va., he was a son of the late George and Lydia Garrison. He was also preceded in death by eight brothers, George, William, Elwood, Vincent, Homer, Paul, Lawrence and John. Arthur graduated from Hershey High School Class of 1938 and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1945. His major interest was golf and traveling with his wife, Mildred. He was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren in Hershey. Surviving are two daughters, Ann Passenger (husband Harold) residing in Hershey, and Robin Michels (husband Roger) residing in New Port Richey, Fla.; two brothers, Joe of Dayton, Ohio, and Henry of Mint Springs, Va.; two sisters, Mary Cary (husband Fred) of Palmyra and Florence Grazier of San Antonio, Texas; three granddaughters, Kellie, Dorianne, and Tiffany; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 2, 2012, 10 a.m. at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 E. Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at 3 p.m. Arrangements by Auer Cremation Services of Pennsylvania, Inc.
