M. shabodeho@aol.com May 14, 2012, 10:00 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on May 6, 2012 Glenn R. Ginder CLIVE, IA Glenn R. Ginder, 58, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at First Federated Church, 4801 Franklin Ave., Des Moines, Iowa. The family will greet friends Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hamilton's, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Burial will be at Iowa Veterans Cemetery on Monday morning. Glenn was born on September 26, 1953, in Lebanon, to George (Bob) and Shirley Ginder. He became a disciple of Christ while serving in the Navy (1972- 1976). Glenn's passion in life was to know Jesus more and to have others know Him also. He loved to laugh and enjoy life. Glenn and his family enjoyed being a part of another culture for 20 years in Malaysia. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 25 years, Carol (Reeve); his children, Samuel, Timothy, and Sarah Ginder; brother, Nathan (Kim) Brightbill; parents-in-law, Herman and Naida Reeve; sister-in-law, Ann Reeve; and many relatives and friends in Pennsylvania as well as around the world. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Timothy Ginder; and sister, Alicia Brightbill.
