  Kenneth P. Gipe 
  
  LEBANON Kenneth P. Gipe, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dianna P. (Light) Gipe. 
  Born in Elizabethtown, on May 24, 1939, Kenneth was a son of the late Harold 
  and Florence (Stoudt) Gipe. He worked as a machinist for Kercher Machine Works 
  in Lebanon. He was a singer in the Barbershop Chorus and he was also a Mason. 
  He enjoyed doing puzzles with his grandson, bowling, working in his workshop, 
  volunteering at the Lebanon Senior Center, and spending time doing absolutely 
  anything with his grandson. He is survived by one son, Kenneth P. Gipe, II of 
  Palmyra; one grandson, Kenneth P. Gipe, III; one brother, Richard Gipe; three 
  sisters, Bertha, Ellen, and June; also many nieces and nephews. He was 
  preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on 
  Thursday evening, May 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 
  S. 9th St., Lebanon 17042. Interment will be held at the convenience of the 
  family.
