  FREDERICKSBURG Ronald L. Gordon, 68, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012, 
  at his home surrounded by his family and caregiver. He was the husband of 
  Carol A. Fidler Gordon, and on August 3, 2012, they would have celebrated 
  their 48th wedding anniversary. Born in Campbelltown, on July 10, 1943, he was 
  the son of the late Harold and Esther Gordon. For over 45 years he had worked 
  in construction, retiring as the owner and operator of Ron's Construction. He 
  was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion, and 
  several area golf leagues. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends 
  and playing Texas hold'em. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, 
  Donald F. Gordon of Williamstown; daughters, Kim M., wife of David Zimmerman 
  of Jonestown, and Roxane Benfer of Fredericksburg; sisters, Annabelle 
  Bomberger of Middletown, Lorraine Rhoads of Lebanon, Gloria Weaver of Enola, 
  Marylou Crum of Enola, Grace Burkholder of Lancaster, and Cindy Herr of 
  Palmyra; and grandchildren, Josh, Regan, Samantha, Kayla, and Nicholas. He was 
  preceded in death by his grandson, Lee Gordon; brothers, Harold Gordon, Jr. 
  and Philip Gordon; and a sister, Doris Moats. Funeral services will be held on 
  Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & 
  Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing will be held on 
  Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment with military 
  honors will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
