  LEBANON Betty J. Grimes, 87, died on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Cedar Haven. 
  She was born on Monday, September 15, 1924, to Irvin Snavely and Dora Snavely 
  nee Keath in Lebanon. She worked in the restaurant industry. She was active in 
  the Seventh Day Adventist Church for 50 years and was involved with a 
  community lunch for 15 years. She was a very special, loving, kind mother who 
  was very giving and her great-grandchildren were a joy in her life. Surviving 
  are daughter, Cheryle "Sue", spouse of Harold Bowman of Cleona; son, Carl J., 
  Jr., spouse of Darlene Grimes of Lebanon; grandchildren, Chad Grimes, Travis 
  Grimes, Eric, spouse of Rebecca Bowman, Ryan, spouse of Amy Bowman, and 
  Jessica, spouse of David Johnston; great-grandchildren, Austin Bowman, Tyler 
  Bowman, Harold Bowman, Trinity Bowman, Felicity Bowman, Ethan Bowman, Esme 
  Bowman, and Kaylee Johnston; brother, Clifford, spouse of Kathy Snavely; and 
  sister, Maryann, spouse of Marlion McQuinn. She was preceded in death by 
  husband, Carl Grimes, Sr.; and sister, Irene Snavely. Viewing will be on 
  Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, 
  Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2 
  p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cornwall Cemetery, Cornwall, 
  following the service.  Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the 
  family with the arrangements.
