M. shabodeho@aol.com March 17, 2012, 4:27 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on March 14, 2012 Nancy L. Moyer Haines AKRON Nancy Lee Moyer Haines, 80, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012. She resided at Maple Farm, Akron. She was born July 21, 1931, in Harrisburg, and was the daughter of the late Eva P. (Fetterhoff) and Irwin F. Moyer. She graduated from Susquehanna Township High School and was a long time civilian employee of the Air Force base at Olmstead and the Naval Depot in Mechanicsburg. Nancy's true joy was in her church and her family, especially the celebration of Christmas. She loved her family outings and family visits. Before moving to Maple Farm, she was a member of Paxton United Methodist Church, Harrisburg. She taught Sunday school for many years at Trinity United Methodist Church, Harrisburg. She is survived by her son, Pete, and daughter- in-law, Carolyn (Gibson); three grandsons, Jason, (Jenny) of Lancaster, Jeremy of Mountville, and Joshua, of Lancaster; and four great-grandchildren, Preston, Sam, Pearson, and Molly. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Paxton United Methodist Church, 3550 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, with a memorial service at 12 noon. Burial will be private at Blue Ridge Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Arrangements are being handled by Neill Funeral Home, Harrisburg.
