  CRALEY Edna A. "Granny" Hammer, 95, went to her Eternal Home surrounded by her 
  loving family on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at her home. She was born on Tuesday, 
  April 17, 1917, to the late Grant K. Ruhl and Amy S. Ruhl nee Brubaker in 
  Lebanon. She was an active member of St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church. She 
  worked in the garment manufacturing industry. She was active in Historic 
  Schaefferstown and Farm Women #9. Granny was also an avid quilter for the Farm 
  Women and crafted numerous baby blankets donated to Lancaster Clinics. She 
  also enjoyed baking pies, angel food cakes, collecting shoe buttoners, cooking 
  for large family occasions, making opera fudge, canning and freezing and 
  sewing and embroidering. Surviving are children, Barbara spouse of Earl 
  Hehnly, Myerstown, Bernie spouse Harlan Redcay, Landisville, Blanche spouse of 
  Thomas Lozar, Zelienople, Jesse spouse of Pamela Hammer, Westminster, Colo., 
  Rebecca spouse of John Nehring, Craley, Peter spouse of Bonnie Hammer, 
  Pittsburgh, Thomas Hammer, Dover; grandchildren, Bryon spouse of Brenda 
  Hehnly, Fredericksburg, Betsy Hehnly, Newmanstown, Bruce Hehnly, Myerstown, 
  Amie Hehnly, Schaefferstown, Angie spouse of Darin Burbrink, Glen Allen, Va., 
  Timothy Lozar, Loveland, Colo., Carl spouse of Katarina Lozar, Kauai, HI, 
  Julie spouse of Christopher Frey, Melissa Sweigart, Denver, Melinda spouse of 
  Shawn Hilton, Denver, Marcy Hehnly, Atlanta, Ga., Jeffrey spouse of Madeline 
  Hammer, Denver, Colo., Jessica spouse of Neal Kurschner, Berthound, Colo., 
  Lisa Hammer, Harrisburg, Abigail Hammer, York, John spouse of Melissa Nehring, 
  Randolph, N.J., Jeremiah Hammer, Columbus, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Jonathan 
  Hehnly, Zachary Hehnly, Samuel Burbrink, Maxwell Burbrink, Daniel Lozar, Lucia 
  Lozar, Ryan Frey, Paige Frey, Tyler Sweigert, Brandon Hilton, Cheyenne Hilton, 
  Ezekiel Hammer, Caleb Kurschner, Isabel Kurschner. She was preceded in death 
  by husband, Myles A. Hammer; daughter, Brenda Hehnly; great-grandchild, Emily 
  Hammer. Viewing will be on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 
  Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services 
  will be on Thursday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 
  Schaefferstown Cemetery, Schaefferstown, following the service.   Christman's 
  Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
