  George Harrison Sr. 
    
  MYERSTOWN George Harrison, Sr., 71, died Monday, March 5, 2012, at Cedar 
  Haven, Lebanon. He was the husband of Catherine (Wolfington) Harrison, who 
  died July 23, 2011. Born in Lititz, on January 3, 1941, he was the son of the 
  late John G. and Mary A. (Ochs) Harrison. He was raised by Elva May and the 
  Rev. John W. Hevener Sr. at the Brethren Children's Home, Neffsville. He was 
  employed as a janitor at Ashmore Sportswear, Inc., Womelsdorf, for about 10 
  years. A member of Heidelberg Church of the Brethren, Myerstown, he enjoyed 
  hiking, fishing, bicycling and loved animals. He is survived by sons, George 
  Harrison, Jr. of Arizona, Andrew Harrison and his cat Pepper of Myerstown, 
  John M. husband of Pamela T. Harrison and their dog Lucy of Myerstown; a 
  grandson Mike; and seven brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held 
  Friday at 1 p.m. from Heidelberg Church of the Brethren, 162 E. Reistville 
  Rd., Myerstown. There will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will be 
  private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Grose 
  Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067; to help defray 
  funeral expenses.
