  Donald E. Heist Jr. 
   
  LEBANON Donald E. Heist, Jr., 70, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012, 
  at his sons home in Jonestown. Born in Lebanon, on November 26, 1941, he was 
  the son of the late Donald and Julia Guidus Heist, Sr. He retired from GE in 
  Lebanon and following retirement he worked for Highland Tank. He was a member 
  of Manicore, the Lebanon Eagles Club, the Liberty Fire Co. and the CB 
  Sportsman's Club. He had a life long love for racing, especially micro-racing. 
  He enjoyed riding his Goldwing, watching wrestling and especially being 
  outdoors. He is survived by his sons, Kevin E. Heist, Sr., of Lebanon, Brian 
  K. Heist and his wife, Eunice of Jonestown and Donald E. Heist, III and his 
  wife, Dixie of Pottsville; daughters, Amber C. Heist, Heather L. Heist and 
  Cathrine L. Figueroa, all of Lebanon; brothers, Richard Heist of Jonestown and 
  George Heist, Sr., of Lebanon; sisters, Mary Lou Davis, Joyce Reinhart, Anna 
  Boyer and Grace Johnson all of Lebanon; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-
  grandchildren; and Rochester, his 20ft. Python. He was preceded in death by 
  his son, Troy S. Heist, Sr.; a brother, Charles Heist; and a sister, Dorothy 
  Ann Heist. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 11 
  a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., 
  Jonestown. Viewing will be on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to 
  the service on Thursday. Interment will be at the Kochenderfer's Cemetery, 
  Lebanon.
