Heller-Kohlenberg, 79, died Friday May 18, 2012, at Schuyler Hospital, in Montour Falls, N.Y. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lakeland Mennonite Church, Rock Stream Rd., Rock Stream, N.Y., where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Dale Eby officiating. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday (May 25) at the Rothermel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078; followed by a graveside service in Moyer Cemetery, Palmyra, Pennsylvania. Mary was born November 10, 1932 in Hummelstown, the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Snavely McCorkel. She graduated from Hershey High School in 1950. On August 1, 1952 in Bachmanville, she married the late Luke S. Heller, together they raised five children before he passed away on September 11, 1973. On June 9, 1977, in Lewistown, Maryland she married the late William Kohlenberg, who passed away on December 22, 2006. They had lived locally since 1993, previously of Hornell, N.Y. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her only daughter, Carol M. (Allen) Faus of Rock Stream, N.Y.; four sons, Glenn M. (Bonnie) Heller of Madison, Wis., David M. (Naomi) Heller of Jonestown, Wayne M. (Lois) Heller of Tyrone, Bruce M. (Shelley) Heller of Portland, Ore.; 24 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul McCorkel of Myerstown, Jake (Louise) McCorkel of Hershey, Samuel (Carol) McCorkel of Hummelstown; two sisters, Charlotte Rissler also of Hummelstown, and Shirley (Lloyd) Myers of Denver, PA; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and husbands, she was pre-deceased by a two brothers, Lloyd and Donald McCorkel and two sisters, Mildred Runion, and Geraldine Martin. Arrangements are by the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water St., Dundee, N.Y.
