  NORFOLK, VA Donald Robert Herr, 75, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012. He is 
  survived by his loving wife, Joy L. (Stokes) Herr. He was born Tuesday, August 
  25, 1936, in Lebanon County, to the late Omar and Mary (Bargo) Herr. He 
  graduated from Palmyra High School and served in the U.S. Navy aboard the 
  U.S.S. Macon. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Herr; two sons, Dwayne Herr 
  and wife, Jenny, and Robert Herr; three grandchildren, Heather Herr, Harrison 
  Herr, and David Lawrence and wife, Lindsay; two great-grandchildren, Payton 
  and Zachary Lawrence; sisters, Joann Sells and husband, Robert, Eileen 
  Sattesahn and husband, Harold, Barbara Herr and companion, Clarence Starner, 
  and Pamela Daubert and husband, Dave; and an aunt, Helen Meily. Burial took 
  place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, Va. Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation 
  Services, Inc., Palmyra, has assisted with the arrangements.
