  CLEONA William Donald Herr, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, in ManorCare Health 
  Services, Lebanon. He was the wife of Christine L. Aurentz Herr, who died in 
  1991. Born in Cleona on January 25, 1925, he was the son of the late Francis 
  and Mary Miller Herr. He was retired from the Cold Bolt Department at 
  Bethlehem Steel Corp., Lebanon. Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and Korea 
  and also served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was a member of 
  Immanuel United Methodist Church, Cleona, the Cleona Fire Company, and the 
  Annville American Legion Post 559. Surviving are a daughter, Debra A. wife of 
  Edward A. Ponessa of Palmyra; a son, William G. Herr of Clifton, Va.; a 
  brother, Francis J. Herr of Cleona; two grandchildren, Megan C. Frye and 
  Nathan W. Herr; a great-granddaughter, Jordan A. Frye; and two nephews, Robert 
  and Thomas Herr. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from 
  the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment 
  will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. 
  Viewing will be held on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
