  Elizabeth C. Hess 
   
  LEBANON Elizabeth "Libby" C. Hess, 93, passed away February 5, 2012, at Good 
  Samaritan Hospital. Born March 30, 1918, daughter of the late John and 
  Elizabeth (Longhouser) Obenstine. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her 
  husband, Garfield C. Hess; and brother, Donald Obenstine. Surviving are a son, 
  Garfield C. Hess; daughter, Sandra E. Smetana, wife of the late Andrew P. 
  Smetana; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-
  grandchildren. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1934 and worked more 
  than 50 years at the Lebanon Packaging Company. Libby was a member of Salem 
  Lutheran Church and enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. A 
  graveside service will be held Monday, February 13, 2012, at 2 p.m. at 
  Greenwood Ebenezer Cemetery, Lebanon. Arrangements by Auer Cremation Services 
  of PA, Inc.
