  Charles D. Hoffman 
   
  COOPERSBURG Charles D. Hoffman, 77, died Sunday, January 22, 2012, at the 
  Inpatient Hospice at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. Born in Lebanon on 
  June 27, 1934 to the late Floyd Davis and Doris Gladys (Hoy) Hoffman. He is 
  the husband of F. Michele Sciortino. Charles was the Owner/Operator of Self 
  Directed Placement, San Diego, Calif., until retiring in 1990. In addition to 
  his loving wife of 31 years; he is survived by a son, Lance V. Hoffman of 
  Christianburg, Va.; siblings, John Huffman of Lebanon, Richard Huffman of 
  Pottsville, Carol Mueller of Palmetto, Fla., Claire Batman of Tucson, Ariz. He 
  was predeceased by a sister, Doris Grumbine No services will be held. 
  Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. - Hellertown.
