Homnick, Jr., 65, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012, at home in the arms of his long time partner, Natalie White. Born in Wilkes Barre, on May 23, 1947, he was a son of the late William F. and Mary Veronica Sarah (Murray) Homnick. William attended St. Paul The Apostle Church in Annville and was a 1965 graduate of Hanover Township Memorial High School and a 1969 graduate of Wilkes College. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. For many years Bill served as President of Circle System Reconditioner's in Easton. He was owner/ president of the former Ace Reconditioning and Sports Sales in Washington, PA where he reconditioned and sold sporting goods. He later sold his company to Riddell Sports, Inc. where he continued to do the work he loved as a salesman. For Bill, no job was too big or too small when it came to his clients. Sports was his work and his life, enjoying a game of golf when he wasn't busy working. He will be remembered as a hardworking and devoted father, grandfather, partner, and brother whose dry, Irish humor would make anyone smile. In addition to his partner, Natalie, Bill is survived by two children, a daughter, Stefanie Homnick-Lee, wife of Joseph Allen; and a son, William F. Homnick III; two brothers, Philip Homnick and James, husband of Betty Homnick; a sister, Mary, wife of Michael Weatherholt; a grandson, Lincoln William Homnick; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Church 125 S. Spruce St., Annville, PA 17003. Visitation hours Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon and Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at church. Interment will be held in Zion Cemetery (Kochenderfers). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon Co., Myerstown, Pa.
