  PALMYRA Clarian L. Horst, 83, passed away on October 1, 2012, in the Lebanon 
  Valley Brethren Home. She was born on December 15, 1928, in Myerstown, daughter 
  of the late Leon C. and Mabel N. (Wagaman) Groff. She married Rev. Elmer H. 
  Horst on May 30, 1953 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2004. Mrs. Horst 
  is survived by two daughters, Radell E., wife of Dr. Dale R. Brougher of 
  Findlay, Ohio; and Renee H., wife of Dr. Brent Dohner of Concord, Ohio. There 
  are four grandchildren, Austin (wife, Sarah) Brougher, Aaron Brougher, Ashley 
  (husband, Kevin) Thompson, and Brandon Dohner. Clarian graduated from 
  Millersville University and took additional courses at Lebanon Valley College, 
  Penn State, West Chester, and Villanova Universities. She taught for 36 years 
  in public schools at Rehresburg and Bethel in Berks County; Myerstown in 
  Lebanon County; substituted in Perry Township (Shoemakersville) and Hershey; 
  and taught full time for Lower Dauphin School District from 1966 - 1993. 
  Clarian was a member of the Fishburn U.M. Church in Hershey and sang with the 
  Harmonettes at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home where she also volunteered. She 
  was also a member of the Golden Age in Hummelstown since 1993 and served as 
  secretary for 8 years. She enjoyed reading, weaving purses and placemats, 
  knitting, and personal computer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday in 
  the Fishburn U.M. Church, 1215 Fishburn Road Hershey, with a visitation one 
  hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Grand View Memorial 
  Park, Annville. Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. of Hershey is handling 
  the arrangements.
