M. shabodeho@aol.com July 15, 2012, 4:08 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 25, 2012 LEBANON Catherine Ann (Malehorn) Houser, 53, formerly of Middletown, entered into rest on Friday, June 22, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was born in Harrisburg on October 6, 1958, a daughter of Donald Malehorn and Patricia Richmond. She was a graduate of Middletown High School, Class of 1976. She was employed as a filing clerk for CSX Trucking Co. Catherine was a former member of the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Middletown. She enjoyed hiking and motorcycle riding but her greatest love was the love she received from her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Roy Guy Houser; two daughters, Angela N. wife of Anthony Baptist of Annville, Jessica S. wife of Eric Pyles of Lebanon; eight brothers, Dale Richmond of Baltimore, Md., Stan Richmond of Dillsburg, Scott Richmond of Middletown, Todd Richmond of Dillsburg, James Richmond of Dillsburg, George Richmond of Orlando, Fla., Donald Malehorn Jr. of Middletown and Ronald Malehorn of Annville; sister, Renee Malehorn- Klouse of Newport; Grandchildren, Elena and Evan Baptist of Annville, Alyssa Pyles of Lebanon; numerous cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A tribute to her life will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday at the Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown, with the Rev. Arthur Fox officating. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family per Catherine's request. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made in Catherine's honor to the American Cancer Society, Hershey, Pa. The family cannot thank you enough for your assistance and compassion during this difficult time.
