M shabodeho@aol.com September 16, 2012, 12:06 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on September 6, 2012 LITITZ Jane Marie Kaylor, 87, formerly of Palmyra, a resident at Audubon Villa, Lititz, for the past four years, died Friday, August 24, 2012. Born to Ralph and Mary Hershey on August 5, 1925, in Palmyra, she graduated from Palmyra High School and attended Juniata State College. Jane and Alvin Kaylor, Jr. were married in 1947 and celebrated 65 years together on March 1, 2012. Jane worked for John's Floor and Wall Covering, and Sav-U Markets in Palmyra. As a lifelong member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school classes, and led a Girl Scout troop. Jane and Al enjoyed camping and were founding members of the Kanvas Kruisers, a chapter of NCHA. They traveled widely in the Eastern United States and parts of Canada. Jane loved music, singing around the campfire, playing the piano, and playing the accordion. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Kaylor, Jr.; their three children, Marianne, wife of James Cone of Volcan, Republic of Panama, Beth, wife of Keith Brunner of Lititz, and Keith Kaylor of Palmyra; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 8, at 4:30 p.m. at the Palmyra Church of the Brethren. Visitation with the family will start at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Palmyra Church of the Brethren.
