  LEBANON Victor E. "Vic" Koons, 83, died on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 
  Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on Saturday, January 19, 1929, to 
  Elizabeth Koons in Lebanon. He attended Open Door Baptist Church and worked as 
  a switchman for Bell Telephone. He was a veteran of the Army, having served in 
  the Korean Conflict, and was a member of NRA, enjoyed photography, and going to 
  the mountains. Surviving are son, Kevin, spouse of Julie Koons of Lebanon; 
  daughter, Bonnie, spouse of Robert Kantner of Newmanstown; grandchildren, 
  Nathan Koons, Brian Koons, and Adam Koons. He was preceded in death by wife, 
  Madlyn Koons. Viewing will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, from 10 to 11 
  a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral 
  services will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service. Memorial 
  contributions may be made to GSH Hospice, Lebanon, Pa.  Christman's Funeral 
  Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
