M. shabodeho@aol.com August 2, 2012, 8:59 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on July 10, 2012 HERSHEY Roger D. Krall, 75, passed away Sunday evening, July 8, 2012, in his home. Born on February 6, 1937, in Schaefferstown, he was the son of the late Frank and Kathryn Mann Krall. He was a graduate of Schaefferstown High School, received his bachelor's degree in Education from Millers-ville University, and his graduate degree in Education from Temple University. He taught for 37 years at South Hanover Elementary School in the Lower Dauphin School District. He also was co-proprietor of Erwin Jewelers with his late wife, Barbara. After retirement, Roger was employed by Hertz at the Harrisburg International Airport. Roger was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey. He enjoyed the opera, classical music as well as the theater. Along with his wife, Barbara Erwin Krall and his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Neal Krall, formally of Ephrata. Roger is survived by two daughters, Kim Schneider and husband Scott of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Kathleen of New Cumberland; two sons, Robert and wife Sharon of Piscataway, N.J; and Patrick of Oakland, Calif., two brothers, Lyle Krall of Schaefferstown, and James Krall of Apopka, Fla.; two grandsons, Julian Chan of Camp Hill, and Dean Krall of Piscataway, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.
