M. shabodeho@aol.com August 4, 2012, 10:20 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on July 16, 2012 LEBANON John E. Krizan, 87, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Johanna B. Klespis Krizan. Born in Swedeland, on June 24, 1925, John was a son of the late Jozef and Maria Zednicovich Krizan. He had worked as an Expeditor for the City of Lebanon. John was a member of St. Cecilia's Church, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, and was active in all church activities. He was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader. Painting was his passion, and he was also an avid Phillies fan. John was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. In addition to his wife, John is survived by four children, Andre Krizan and companion, Jolene Brandt; Renee Krizan, Daniel Krizan, and Jerry Krizan; five grandchildren: Derek, Josh, Zack, Jared, and Erik; one sister, Helen Zahurak. Preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Joseph, and Paul Krizan; two sisters, Anne Babe and Mary Hubert. Funeral Mass Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Church, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment with military honors at St. Gertrude's Cemetery. Viewing Tuesday evening from 6 to 8, with a Vigil service at 7:30, and Wednesday morning from 10 to 10:30, at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Cecilia's Church.
