M. shabodeho@aol.com August 4, 2012, 9:49 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on July 11, 2012 LEBANON Enos "Kuppy" Kupp, born in Mastersonville, in September 1925, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at 9:29 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, after a serious illness and two major surgeries. He was the son of Gertrude Smith and Enos Kupp. Kuppy was a beloved husband of 63 years to Ruth M. (Keppley), daughter Betty Jane Kupp of Baltimore, Md., and cherished cat, Prissy. Enos is survived by brothers, Curtis Kupp and Gene Kupp; sisters, Edna Miller and Betty Lego; and numerous nieces and nephews. Enos was preceded in death by five siblings. Enos worked at the Wilbur Chocolate Company for 37 years and was a WWII/POW Army veteran. Enos received numerous wartime medals including Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Marksman Badge w/Rifle Bar, and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign (three stars). Kuppy was a long standing member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Schaefferstown. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 14, at 10 a.m. in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the St. Luke Myerstown, PA.
