Lausch, 62, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, at the Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Coal Twp. Born in Lebanon, on February 13, 1950, he was the son of Helen E. (Boltz) Lausch of Campbelltown, and the late Robert G. Lausch. A 1968 graduate of Cedar Crest High School, he attended and graduated from Ursinus College in 1972, where he earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy and religion. He was employed as a teacher at the Cornwall-Lebanon School District, Lebanon, for 40 years. He served as a priest for the Episcopal Diocese of Central PA and was currently serving as rector at St. Stephen's, Mt. Carmel, and Holy Trinity, Shamokin. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Barbara wife of Alan Wells of York Haven; a niece, Kristin; a nephew, Keith; and a great-nephew, Ethan. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. from St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 22 S. 6th St., Lebanon, with The Rt. Rev. Nathan D. Baxter, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Central PA, officiating A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, and Thursday at 2 p.m. at the church. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown. .
