M shabodeho@aol.com September 1, 2012, 4:45 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on August 29, 2012 PALMYRA Warren C. Lehman, 83, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born April 1, 1929 in Palmyra, he was a son of the late Elias and Katie (Heisey) Lehman. An employee of the former National Cash Register Company with 31 years of service, he retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources under Governor Casey. A member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmyra, he was a Korean War Army veteran and the widower of Georgene R. (Light) Lehman who died April 13, 1998. He was also preceded in death by siblings: Victor Lehman, Claude Lehman, Elva Roush, Kathryn Poorman, Dorothy Beam and Virgie Gooden. Surviving are his children: Timothy B. Lehman of Palmyra and Jeffrey S., husband of Deb Lehman of Pittsburgh; grandchildren: Danielle J. Williams, Adam T. Lehman, and Emily K. Lehman; great-grandchildren: Sophia and Ava Williams. A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday at his church, 55 W. Main St., Palmyra. Private interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Memorial contributions may be made to First Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmyra, Pa., or in memory of Warren consider donating blood at a local blood bank.
