M shabodeho@aol.com June 9, 2012, 11:13 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 1, 2012 Christopher K. Lewis SCHERTZ, TX Christopher Keith Duprat Lewis, 37, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012. Born on January 2, 1975, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., he was the son of Terrance Keith Lewis and Rita M. Duprat-Waldo. At the time of his death Chris was a commercial driver for Supreme Vacuum Services in Karnes City, Texas. Chris began his first career as the Senior Dive Master for Big Blue SCUBA in Orlando, Florida and later worked as a professional Dive Master for Walt Disney at the Living Seas, EPCOT in Orlando, Florida. Chris graduated from the Police Academy while working as a dispatcher and joined the Schertz Police Department where he worked for seven years. Chris also trained for and worked as a Hostage Negotiator. He later went to work for the city of Schertz as the Animal Control Manager. Chris was a proud member of the charitable organization, LUCAS Film's 501st Legion, wearing the armors of Star Wars characters (Storm Trooper and Boba Fett). He also loved being in the water... SCUBA diving, swimming, and fishing; and he enjoyed target shooting and spending time with his family. He was a dominating player in the on-line game play, "Call of Duty" series where he played with the folks from TO2P "To Old to Play" and PCP "Pork Chop Platoon". He liked fine wine, dark beer, and expensive cigars... especially with friends. In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his step-father, Bobby Waldo; and step-mother, Beth Lewis; brothers, Vincent Tricamo, Jr., T.J. Waldo and wife, Jamie Waldo; sister, Sandra Marie Waldo; his Uncle, Charles Stetzer Lewis; his cousin, Kyle Lewis; four nieces, Ashlee, Samantha, Reese Waldo, and Angel Gonzales; three nephews, Ian Tricamo, Christian and Noah Gonzales; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents, George and Marian Bucks, of Lebanon, and step-father George Duprat and aunt Debra Shirk of Annville. A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1st, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Schertz Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Schertz Civic Center.
