  LEBANON Joanne F. Light, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family 
  on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife 
  of the late James G. Light, Jr. Born in Lebanon on May 29, 1940, Joanne was 
  the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophia (Kempa) Remlinger. She is survived 
  by two children, James Light and wife Patricia of Redondo Beach, Calif., Jill 
  Veach and husband Wendell of Lebanon; a brother, Anthony Remlinger; three 
  sisters, Marlene Henry, Carol Gingrich, and Sharon Wolfe; two granddaughters, 
  Nicole Veach-Longenecker of Philadelphia and Alicia McArdle of Titusville, 
  Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, 
  John Remlinger and a sister, Louise Swisher. Joanne embraced the role of wife, 
  mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, crocheting, puzzles, 
  spending time with her family, and going to the beach and the mountains. She 
  will be greatly missed by many. Funeral Service Thursday at 12 p.m. at 
  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon. Interment will be 
  private. Viewing hours Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral 
  home.
