Long, 88, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. He was the husband of Janicemarie W. Thornton Long and the late Arlene A. Moyer Long. Born in Annville, on April 15, 1923, he was the son of the late James M. and Mabel Condran Long. He was a retired brake inspector for Reading Railroad and Conrail. Paul was a 1941 graduate of Annville High School and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He attended the Lebanon Valley Bible Church. He was a member of the Palmyra Senior Citizens, the Railroad Retiree Club of PA, Brownstone Masonic Lodge #666, F.&A.M., Hershey, and NARVRE. Paul is survived by a son, Gary P. Long and wife, Deboree of Lewes, Del.; two stepsons, Robert Q. Wenerick of Severn, and William B. Wenerick and wife, Suzanne of Harrisburg; a brother, James B. Long and wife, Mary Ann of Huntingdon Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren, Steve Long, Lisa Weiser, and Morgan Wenerick; three great-grandchildren; a niece; and several nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
