  CLEONA A much-loved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Donna Lee Madden, 
  59, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Friday, June 22, 2012, in her 
  home. Donna was a woman of great faith and a rock of strength to all those who 
  crossed her path of life. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph 
  and Stephanie Bieniek Lawruk. Donna is survived by Jack Modesto, her devoted 
  and loving life companion; a daughter, Erica Madden Roberson; two sons, Shawn 
  Madden and Brian Madden; three sisters, Patty Benton (Larry), MaryAnn Shockley 
  (Jeff), and Nancy Cassell (Roger); three brothers, Joe Lawruk (Sue), Tom 
  Lawruk (Marianne), and Steve Lawruk (Kathy); and numerous aunts, uncles, 
  nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. 
  Paul the Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville. Inurnment will be held 
  at a later date in Altoona. There will be no viewing or visitation. A luncheon 
  will follow the Mass where the family will receive friends. Contributions can 
  be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure,  Dallas, Tx.,  in her memory. Kreamer 
  Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of the arrangements.
