  Herbert R. Markey 
  
  LEBANON Herbert R. Markey, 82, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 in the Good Samaritan 
  Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Doris S. Stober Markey who died in 
  1989. Born in Lebanon on January 1, 1930, he was the son of the late Herbert 
  W. and Ada S. Funk Markey. He was the owner of Markey's Pet Supplies, Lebanon. 
  Herb was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of Korea; a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High 
  School; a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Annville, Mt. 
  Olivet Lodge #704 F.&A.M., Lebanon, Harrisburg Consistory, and the Lebanon 
  Hiking Club. Surviving are a niece, Frances Heslin of Bethlehem; a nephew, 
  Dennis Shaner of Pottstown; a great-niece, Heather Heslin of Bethlehem; a 
  great-nephew, Brian Heslin of Bethlehem; a great-great-nephew, Jacob DeAngelo 
  of Bethlehem; and a great-great-niece, Madyson DeAngelo of Bethlehem. He was 
  preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Shaner. Funeral services will be held 
  on Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main 
  St., Annville. Interment will be in Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, N. Lebanon 
  Twp. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. 
  Masonic services will be held at 1:45 p.m. by Mt. Olivet Lodge #704 F.&A.M. at 
  the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Heart 
  Association,  Lebanon, PA., in his memory.
