Martin, 88, Annville, formerly of Lebanon, died Monday, April 23, 2012, in Kindred Place. She was the wife of the late Harry D. Martin. She was born in Lebanon on August 26, 1923, a daughter of the late Albert C. and Elsie Mease Waltz. She was a proud 1941 graduate of the Scotland School for Veterans' Children. After graduation she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper until she was married on January 23, 1945. She enjoyed being a homemaker, tending to her extensive vegetable garden, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting spending time with her family. She was a devoted Phillies fan and a loyal supporter of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . She was a member of Kochenderfer's U. M. Church. She is survived by children, Harry D. and wife, Linda Martin, Troy; Thomas and wife, Sharon Martin, Lebanon; Nancy wife of Raymond "Ted" Frey, Jr., Lebanon; David and wife, Kathy Martin, Fredericksburg; grandchildren, Jennifer wife of Paul Neuin, Jeffrey and wife Melanie Frey, Rachel Martin, Christopher Martin, Erin wife of Bradley Walters, Daniel Martin, Thomas and wife Colleen Frey, Sarah wife of David Matchette, Leanne wife of Michael Martin, Laura wife of Bret Wiest; great- grandchildren, Harry, Rebecca and Rachel Neuin; Carolyn and Lucas Frey; Nora and Nolan Walters; Kenan and Ezra Matchette; Bryce Martin, Juliet Frey; brother, James Waltz, Idaho; sister, Sandra Zimmerman, Lancaster; sister-in- law, Margaret Clements, Lebanon; several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Elsie Whitaker; and brother, Horace Frederick; beloved aunt, Viola Smith; mother-in-law, Sadie Martin; other in-laws, David and Esther Krumbein, Ruth Martin, Lester and Helen Clements, Sterling Clements. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 and will be preceded by a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park.
