M. shabodeho@aol.com October 4, 2012, 5:30 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on October 4, 2012 Julia Miller RICHMOND, VA It's with great sorrow and regret that Julia Brooks Wagner Miller, 31, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Daniel Miller and family, after a valiant fight with Cancer. Julia was born in State College, on February 7, 1981. She enjoyed reading, riding horses, participating in dance classes, and playing the flute. Throughout junior high and high school she participated in the band and marching band, playing the flute and piccolo. She was a 1999 graduate of State College Area High School. Julia attended classes at Indiana University of PA, working towards a degree in English Literature. She married Daniel Miller from Lebanon on August 15, 2003. The couple moved to Richmond, Va., where Julia worked in retail for several years. She had many hobbies such as sewing, crafts, reading, rescuing cats and also had two mini dachshunds that she adored. Julia worshiped in the Protestant faith. Julia is survived by her husband, Daniel; her brother, Jacob Wagner of Richmond, Va.; her parents, Ted and Pat Wagner of Port Matilda; her grandmother and step grandfather, Jean and John Mathys of Bradford; her in-law's Craig and Karen Miller of Lebanon; nine cousins and their spouses; and numerous uncles and aunts. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2012, at Mark Heintzelman Funeral Home, 226 S. Penn Ave., Centre Hall, PA. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Daugherty officiating. Private burial will be held at the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery on W. Church St., Centre Hall, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to (PAWS), State College, Pa.
