  Marlin P. Nye Sr. 
   
  LEBANON Marlin P. Nye, Sr. , 51, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012, in 
  Hershey Medical Center. Born on February 13, 1961, in Pottsville, he was the 
  son of Patricia Shade Shelton, wife of Sheridan Shelton of Lebanon, and the 
  late Carl L. Nye, Sr. Marlin was affiliated with Gods Missionary Church in 
  Lebanon. He was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School. Preceding him in 
  death, in addition to his father, were paternal grandparents, Paul "Rubber" 
  and Desna Richie Nye, and a brother, Eddie Harrington, Jr. Surviving are three 
  sons, Marlin Nye, Jr., and William "Mikey" Nye, both of Lebanon, and Ronald 
  Nye of Shamokin; one daughter, Krystal Nye of Lebanon; four grandchildren; 
  three brothers, Frank A. Nye, Michael E. Nye, and Carl L Nye, Jr., all of 
  Lebanon; three sisters, Susan Leeper of Harrisburg, Nicole Nye of Tower City, 
  and Barbara Frescatore of Millerstown; his fiancee', Noreen Frescatore Sites 
  of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews, Funeral services will be held in 
  the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, 
  at 8 p.m. with Pastor Barry J. Arnold officiating. There will be a viewing on 
  Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. 
  Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove, at the convenience of the family. The 
  family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the H.L. 
  Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his 
  memory.
