  PALMYRA Warren R. "Andy" Nye, 83, passed away on June 25, 2012, in his home. 
  He was born in Hershey, son of Herman and Beulah (Rearick) Nye. Mr. Nye 
  retired as a machinist for the Reese Candy Co. He also served his country in 
  the U.S. Army during the Korean War. "Andy" was a very creative person who 
  enjoyed woodworking, metal-works and repairing things. He also loved riding 
  his Harley Davidsons. He is survived by two sons, Barry and Bryan Nye; and a 
  daughter, Karen Reed, all of Hummelstown; six step-children, Mike Nye, Kathy 
  Blauch, Jeannie Nye, Scott Nye and Joe Nye, all of Palmyra and Steve Nye of 
  Lebanon; a sister, Arlene Allen of Middletown; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-
  grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a 
  brother, Edgar Nye and an infant son, Warren Nye Jr. It was Mr. Nye's wishes 
  that services are private and at the convenience of the family. The family 
  request any memorial contributions be made to Penn State Hershey Med. Center, 
  Pulmonary Research, Hershey, Pa.  Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of 
  Hershey is handling the arrangements.
