    MYERSTOWN Dorothy A. Oracewski, 76, formerly of North Massapequa, N.Y., died 
    Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of Bernard J. 
    Oracewski to whom she would have been married 53 years on September 26. Born in 
    Nanticoke, on November 26, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna 
    (Kwiatowski) Gwiazdowski. She was a 1953 graduate of Nanticoke High School and 
    had been employed as a security supervisor at Rockbottom Stores, Long Island, 
    New York, for 14 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Mary Gate of 
    Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown and loved reading, crossword puzzles, baking, 
    sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, 
    she is survived by daughters, Linda Oracewski-Scotto wife of Stephen Scotto of 
    West Lampeter; Theresa Oracewski wife of James Hoerauf of North Massapequa, 
    N.Y.; son, Michael husband of Lisa Oracewski of Bay Shore, N.Y.; grandchildren, 
    Ashley, Adriana, Emilie, Moraina, Annaleigha, Brandon and Halene; sister, 
    Theresa Bedosky of Nanticoke; and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
    be celebrated Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at 10 a.m. from Mary Gate of Heaven 
    Catholic Church, 188 W. McKinley Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Tuesday, July 10, 
    2012 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., 
    Myerstown. Recitation of the Rosary Tuesday at 7 p.m. Interment will be in the 
    Long Island International Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, 
    memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
