  Arlene E. Ovecka 
   
  LEBANON Arlene E. Ovecka, 90, died on Friday, January 20, 2012, at Spang Crest 
  Manor. She was born on Monday, October 31, 1921, to Edgar Phillippy and Esther 
  Phillippy nee Kleinfelter in Lebanon. She was a graduate of LHS in 1939. She 
  was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church, where she served as lecturn 
  and sang in the choir. She was also involved with the Lebanon Women's Club and 
  made crafts. Surviving are son, David, spouse of Janice Ovecka of Brandon, 
  Vt.; grandchildren, Elaine and David; brother, Arland Phillippy; and a number 
  of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Ovecka; 
  grandchild, Angela; brothers; and sisters. Funeral services will be on 
  Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 Oak 
  St., Lebanon. No viewing. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 
  Annville, following the service.  Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to 
  serve the family with the arrangements.
