M. shabodeho@aol.com June 30, 2012, 9:35 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 19, 2012 ANNVILLE Joseph Palanzo, 93, a loving, quite, peaceful man, passed from this life on Friday, June 15, 2012, to be with his wife, Novina Baldori Palanzo and all their family and friends. He was born on February 22, 1919, in Danbury, Connecticut, and served in the Army with the 52nd Med Port in France during WWII. He met Novina at a USO dance while stationed at Fort Indiantown Gap and it was love at first sight. He spent most of his work life selling tires by the trailer load for his brother-in-law at Unger Brothers and collecting and selling antiques with Novina. Joe spent his life being a caring loving provider for his family and a great friend to all. He is survived by his four sons and their spouses: Joseph and Suzanne of Pikesville, Md., Phillip and Maryann of Palmyra, David and Jill of Annville, and Dean and Annemarie of Campbelltown. He was blessed with six grand children and nine great- grandchildren. A time of visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Annville on Wednesday June 20. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Lung Association or the memorial fund at St. Paul the Apostle Church. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of arrangements.
