M. shabodeho@aol.com April 14, 2012, 6:41 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on April 9, 2012 Kelly Ann Pallone PALMYRA On Saturday, April 7, 2012, Kelly Ann (Gill) Pallone, 44, went to be with the Lord following a brief battle with Ependymoma. She was born on January 26, 1968, in Grove City, and lived the last 12 years in Palmyra. Kelly graduated from Linden Hall School, Lititz and Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, Pa. Kelly was dedicated to her family and worked as a homemaker. Previously, she worked as a Paralegal in Pittsburgh and as a Director at the Milton Hershey School, Hershey. She was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. She was the personification of kindness, generosity, hope, faith, and honesty. Kelly lived everyday with a hunger for peace and a passion to spread love. She harvested the good from every situation and fought to extinguish hate and sadness. She loved to cook and bake for a crowd and gave away her handmade quilts as cherished keepsakes. She had a passion for genealogy and encouraged others to research their past as she loved history. Kelly is forever woven into the fabric that makes our lives complete. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Joseph Gill Jr. She is survived by her husband, David E. Pallone (formally of New Kensington); three sons, John Anthony Pallone, Joseph Karl Pallone, Michael Franz Pallone; brother, Donald Joseph (Robin) Gill III of Brookville; sister, Shonna Lee Jungbluth of Titusville; mother, Patricia McCoy Gill, step-father Frederick Joseph Schweihofer of Sligo; and many nieces, nephews and friends who she made part of her family. She was a member of Hershey Chapter 509, O.E.S. Visitation will be at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In addition, visitation will be at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Christian service at the Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra, at 10 a.m. on Friday followed by burial at the Fairview Cemetery, Patton.
