  MOUNT GRETNA Marian S. Potteiger, 91, died on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at 
  M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was born on Saturday, January 29, 1921, to the 
  late Harry Scherb and Elizabeth R. Scherb nee Thompson in Lebanon. She was a 
  member of Mt. Gretna United Methodist Church. She worked at Hershey Foods. 
  Marian was a sentimental woman who loved and lived for the Lord. She collected 
  coins, vases, hats, dolls, and jewelry. She also enjoyed writing, cooking, 
  gardening, and antiques. Surviving are daughter, Elizabeth May Spangler of 
  Hummelstown; grandchildren, Anthony Terrell, and Tammy, spouse of David Gruber 
  of Middletown; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Spangler and Miranda E. Spangler; 
  brothers, Richard Kerkeslager, James, spouse of Nancy Kerkeslager, Thomas, 
  spouse of Mildred Kerkeslager, and Dennis, spouse of Maxine Kerkeslager; 
  sisters, Isabel, spouse of Charles Eber, and Joan, spouse of Neil Smith; and 
  sons-in-law, Donald Fry and Anthony Spangler. She was preceded in death by 
  husband, Donald Potteiger; son, Terry W. Drum; daughter, Carol Fry; brother, 
  Jack Kerkeslager; and sister, May Beamesderfer. Viewing will be on Wednesday, 
  September 12, 2012, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 
  Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the 
  funeral home. Burial will be at Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery, Lebanon, 
  following the service. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the 
  family with the arrangements.
