  LEBANON Ruth R. (Allen) Presby, 92, died on Friday, March 23, 2012, at Cedar 
  Haven Nursing Home. Born on July 20, 1919, in Kansas City, Mo., she was the 
  daughter of the late Rev. Francis King Allen and Rose Amanda (Ealy) Allen. She 
  graduated from Loup City High School and Kearney State College (Nebraska) with 
  a major in Speech and Drama. She worked as a teacher, a high school principal, 
  and a drama producer. During World War II she worked as a munitions tester and 
  flew with the Womens Airforce Service Pilots (WASPS). She married Edward 
  Presby in Lisbon, N.H., in 1946. He died in 1970. Ruth is survived by her 
  three children, Allen Presby of Unadilla, N.Y., Philip Presby of Reading, and 
  Rosamond Presby of Lebanon. She has six grandchildren and two great-
  grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian 
  Church at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 30.
