  Ronald E. Purcell 
  
  MIDDLETOWN Ronald Eugene Purcell, 56, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 
  Community General Osteopathic Hospital. Born June 16, 1955, in Lebanon, he was 
  a son of Salvadore and Mae (Huntzinger) Purcell. Mr. Purcell worked many years 
  with Sunoco. He enjoyed cooking and had formerly been a chef at numerous 
  restaurants. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School. Surviving are two sons, 
  Andrew C. Meyer-Purcell of Middletown and Peter F. Meyer of Iowa; a 
  granddaughter, Morrigan Ruth Meyer of California; as well as several nieces 
  and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a 
  granddaughter, Ashley Owen Meyer, and a brother, Samuel F. Purcell, Sr. Family 
  and friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday 
  at the Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg. In 
  lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes 
  Association.
