Rausch, 79, died Friday, January 27, 2012, in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. Born September 16, 1932, in Annville, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Katherine (Krauss) Rausch, and siblings, Katherine Brightbill, Jacob Rausch, Henry Rausch, Margaret Kayser, and Martha Shertzer. A retired mechanic from Kraft Foods with 34 years of service, he was a Korean War Army veteran, member of the American Legion Post 559, Annville, and a lifetime member of the Palmyra Sportsmens Association, Citizens Fire Company #1, Palmyra, and the National Rifle Association. Surviving are his long time companion, Sandra L. Engle, and her son, Ronald S. Engle, Jr., both of Palmyra; and nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Palmyra. Viewings 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, both at the church. Interment in Palmyra Cemetery.
